THE DOOR
Several teenagers from The Door and myself partnered in the summer of 2018 and had the opportunity to collaborate a variety of photoshoots. Some of photos were displayed at a small exhibit within The Whitney Museum. The following photos were the final edits that were showcased.
GIBNEY SUMMER STUDY INTENSIVE
The Summer Study provides students with an immersive experience in the NYC dance scene over four weeks at Gibney Dance. CONFIDANZ was graciously welcomed by the participants in the summer of 2018 and were able to capture some colorful body shots. The photos below were our gifts to the students for their personal use or upcoming auditions.
GIBNEY WINTER STUDY INTENSIVE
At the very start of 2019, CONFIDANZ had the privilege to join Gibney’s Winter Study. Collaborating with twelve students, one of whom was primarily an actress who shared her first dance photoshoot with this program, along with a familiar face from our collaboration with The Door this past summer were in attendance. We were excited and happy to have worked with such lovely artists. Each dancer received a dance/movement shot and headshot of their choice.
COLLABORATION WITH UNIV. NEIGHBORHOOD HIGH SCHOOL
The session was a gift from Ariel Arsch for her graduating dance class. She had considered bringing in CONFIDANZ to her first senior class as a gift to her students, thanking them for helping her create the only dance program in the school and committing to it for the past four years. The students really opened up and allowed us to see their personalities along with truly supporting one another. They were a fantastic group to wrk with. Ariel and I hope to continue this relationship in the future.
