about the program
CONFIDANZ is a program designed to in crease a dancer’s comfort in front of the camera as well as develop the friendly conversation with the photographer. The workshop breaks down key skill and highlights ways to create successful photos as well as a better overall experience. The session covers basic elements of photography which in turns will support dancers the understanding of angles, lighting, and how to make choices in order to create strong poses, leading to successful photoshoots whilst building some ‘confidanz’.
about the ‘why’
Modeling introduced itself into my life when I was severely injured and was searching for a means to keep my mind at ease while still using ‘dance’ as a tool while my injury healed. As I became more knowledgable in this new ‘field’, I soon began to take notice that because I was a dancer with the familiarity of some photography knowledge I had the ability to use the best of both worlds. The photography part of my life had been graciously provided while I attended college as a free credited class. And I can say today those classes were immensely beneficial throughout the month of my injury, and continue to be in my present day.
